It all began in 2005 when we were just 9 years old. Luke attended one of my ballet dress rehearsals – and neither of us could have known that this would be the start of something that would last a lifetime. Just one week later, his mom took us on what we now like to think as our very first "date" to the movies. From that moment on, our lives seemed to stay gently intertwined. We grew up side by side as friends – celebrating birthdays, dancing through music festivals, and showing up for all the moments in between. Through the years, no matter where life took us, we always found our way back into each other's world. Then in 2020, after plenty of patience (and a little persistence!) from Luke, something shifted. At my 21th birthday, the first spark flew – and suddenly, our story began to feel a little different. What started as childhood friendship grew into something deeper, steadier, and more meaningful than we ever could have imagined. A love built on years of knowing each other, choosing each other, and growing together. And now after all this time... we get to say "forever".
